Line Blocking

Some simulations, normally where there is an alternative entry point i.e. 4 track main line, can be set to allow lines to be blocked for train entry. This is in addition to any pre-coded closure scenarios.

There are several ways the developer can set these up to work and you will be advised in the manual which has been adopted. These options are:

• The train is cancelled and will never run
• Trains are delayed until the block is removed
• The train will be rerouted to an alternative entry point

The blockage is effected by entering a special TD in the appropriate signal berth.

The following codes can be inserted as TD:

• BLOK
• SHUT
• POSS
• *T (and any other 2 characters, eg *T3*)
