Wakefield 2011The nearest station is Wakefield Westgate (CRS Code: WKF). This station is served by East Coast (these trains run London King's Cross - Leeds / Bradford Forster Square / Skipton (the latter two only one train per day in each direction) + vice-versa), CrossCountry (various routes), East Midlands Trains (these trains run London St. Pancras International (Domestic Platforms 1-4) - Leeds + vice-versa) and Northern Rail (various routes).
Upon arrival at the station head to the main station building and follow signs to the exit. After going through the automatic double-doors turn right, walk alongside the taxi rank and follow this road around the corner towards the main road. At the T-Junction with the main road, turn right and follow this road under the railway bridge. By now you should see a right-turn ahead of you and as you approach this you will see the pub straight ahead of you across this road.
Those travelling to/arriving at Wakefield Kirkgate (CRS Code: WKK) could either take a train the short distance to Wakefield Westgate, take advantage of the FreeCityBus service which links the two stations or alternatively walk (less than 1 mile); Exit the station, head onto Monk Street, turn left into Park Street, cross Brunswick Street and head into Ings Road, follow this road around the right-hand bend and carry on along this road. At the roundabout go straight across but ensure you're walking on the right hand side of the road. As you approach the railway bridge you should notice the road splitting so follow this road to the right (Quebec Street) then carry on along this road to the T-Junction at the end. Once there you should see the pub just across the road
