Gloucester signal box controls the 'crossroads' of four main lines, which go to Birmingham, Swindon, Bristol and Newport. It also includes the junctions to Droitwich, Norton Jn and Sharpness. Gloucester station has four platforms and a “Horse Box” siding along with the full goods works. Included is the famous Lickey incline, two miles of track at 1 in 37, which is the longest stretch of very steep track anywhere in Britain - you will also be responsible for operating the Lickey Banker.
