Clearing Points

The extent of clearing points is shown in white beyond home signals, and points required to be locked are shown in blue. At a small number of locations, there are two clearing points, and this is shown by the white track extending in two directions from the relevant point. Where there is only a single clearing point, trains must be brought to a stand at the home signal before a route can be set to the diverging line.
