This is normally quite a simple One Train staff operation. In normal operation, the DMU will hove up at Victoria Road and phone in requesting the staff. The signaller releases the staff (left click RELEASE button) and the train will proceed along the branch. On return, the staff will be replaced after a phone call and the train will proceed back to Plymouth. So far so good.
However, there is an added complication of there being a siding at Ernesettle MOD depot where trains can be shut-in. As above a train will hove up at Victoria Road and staff is requested and granted as above. After the train arrives at Ernesettle the crew will return the staff to Victoria Road by road and inform you the staff has been replaced. This takes around 10 minutes.
In the reverse the train will enter the sim at Ernesettle (this is simply to trigger the subsequent events) and the crew will then proceed to Victoria Road by road (10 minutes or so) collect the token and return to Ernesettle (10 minutes) whereupon the train will depart and arrive at Victoria Rd and the staff replaced.
The operation is dependent on the train being destined for the MOD siding, or not, the default is to send trains to Gunnislake.
