Introduction

Welcome to Crewe – A busy hub of both freight and passenger services on the West Coast Mainline. Here you control trains from Madeley (Exclusive) through to Acton Grange Junction (Exclusive) as well as part of the branches toward Manchester via Sandbach, and Liverpool via Runcorn

Crewe covers the eight signal boxes which controls the Crewe area. The simulation depicts four eras post the 1985 resignalling of Crewe Station, with the changes in the surrounding boxes being divided into four key changes.

Basford Hall Junction and Crewe Coal Yard are the last three remaining mechanical signal boxes on the West Coast Mainline between London Euston and Glasgow Central!
