Timetabling Details

Note that due to various layout changes since Saltley closed (including re-modelling at Stratford-Upon-Avon, Whitlocks End, Shirley, Tyseley/Small Heath, new platforms at Moor Street and a new loop at Alvechurch), modern-day timetables for this simulation are not feasible.

The SimSig team visited on a bank holiday, hence the '-WE- AINT OPEN' in the TD berths at Lawley Street.

Additional Information

SY8 is the Platform 4 down starter signal at Barnt Green station, and it is controlled by Saltley South Top Panel.

The signal is notorious for being the setting for an interesting conversation between the signaller at Saltley South Top panel and the driver of 2R43.
