All figures in metres. Note that a few metres of gap is required at either end, so realistically a 200m length will only fit a 190m train approximately. An additional couple of metres is required between multiple trains. Where stations or platforms are omitted, the length of the train is irrelevant.
A carriage is typically around 20m for an EMU carriage and 23m for a DMU carriage.
