Introduction
A very busy station in the heart of West Yorkshire, Leeds plays host to every type of traffic in the UK. The station has frequent services to London, as well as cross-country and regional expresses. It is also the centre of a busy metro-style network, with frequent electric services to the Aire Valley and three other equally busy diesel routes. The station is also sees traffic to rural areas; Leeds is the origin of the infrequent services to Carlisle and Carnforth via Hellifield.
You'll also be responsible for threading freight services through the dense passenger traffic, and the entrance to the terminal complex at Holbeck is under your control. If that weren't enough, early mornings and late evenings are busy with trains running to and from the large maintenance depot at Neville Hill.
ARS is included, but remember it is only there to assist! If you're a fan of New Street, you should find that Leeds is right up your street.
