Introduction
Welcome to Plymouth PSB, controlling around 40 miles of the Great Western Main Line from Totnes to Liskeard. While geographically large, the fairly light traffic pattern makes this a good simulation for beginners moving on to bigger and more complex areas.
As well as Plymouth station, you're responsible for controlling various shunt moves around Laira TMD, entry to the Gunnislake branch and the single line over the Royal Albert Bridge, one of Brunel's most famous structures. Good regulation is key- the area has steep gradients, long block sections and large numbers of stations at the western end (and on into Cornwall), with limited opportunities for freight and stopping services to be overtaken.
Plymouth is a payware simulation- to play beyond a short demo period requires the purchase of a license from the Products area .
