Introduction
Welcome to Sheffield ROC! This simulation replicates the two Sheffield panels at York ROC, which took over the majority of the area formerly controlled by Sheffield PSB. In addition, three smaller boxes around Sheffield (Woodburn Jn, Woodhouse Jn and Beighton Jn) are simulated, along with the secondary line to Barnsley. You're also in control of the unique (to the UK) tram-train section at Rotherham!
Traffic is a busy mix of long distance inter city services (to London, Cross Country and Trans-Pennine), regional semi-fast services, local stopping services and a fair amount of freight. For the solo player, ARS is available to help, and level crossings can be disabled on start-up to further reduce the workload.
Sheffield ROC is a payware simulation- to play beyond a short demo period requires the purchase of a license from the Products area .
