Introduction
The Wigan Wallgate simulation places you in control of four signal boxes which control the secondary lines from Wigan to Kirkby and Southport. Traffic is primarily local passenger workings (some of which terminate at Wigan from Manchester), with a small amount of freight in some timetables.
The simulation contains a mix of everything SimSig has to offer, with Absolute Block working, level crossings and token working on the Kirkby line. Traffic levels are just enough to avoid boredom, but low enough that you’re not rushed off your feet, making this an ideal beginner’s simulation.
Wigan Wallgate is a payware simulation- to play beyond a short demo period requires the purchase of a license from the Products area .
