This is an attempt to reproduce the passenger timetable shown in the 1922 Bradshaw Guide as reprinted by David & Charles running over the present layout of SimSig.
Cheltenham - The GWR and other routes are simulated via Alstone CS and spur.
This means that trains run through Cheltenham Spa Lansdown rather than avoiding it.
Gloucester GWR - I have used the Loco Shed and Carriage sidings as shown.
Gloucester Midland - I have used the avoiding lines at the top of the screen to simulate Gloucester (later called Eastgate), and the 1-12 sidings as the engine shed, and 13-18 sidings as carriage sidings. Usually there are only two trains in the station at any time, but the Goods line can be used as platform 3.
Trains to various branches off the Gloucester-Lydney section run through to Awre.
Trains on the Severn Bridge line from Berkeley Road via Sharpness appear at Berekely Road, and need authorising when ready to depart.
Trains to and from Ledbury are simulated by using the CE depot at Gloucester.
In 1922 there was a motor coach service between Chalford and Gloucester, which was a direct competition for the local bus service. I have not included this as there is no way to terminate at Chalford, and today's block sections are far too long to allow such a frequent service.
No freight included (yet...)
This TT should link with Bristol.
I have tried running all four 1922 timetables together but it needs a multiplayer session to test the links thoroughly.
Please report bugs, comments and suggestions via the Simsig forum or to me at
tony.reese@mail.com
tony001234 on skype
