This timetable is set between May and September 2003 on a average weekday and features a mix of stopping, semi fast, express South West Trains services, Silverlink Metro as well as international Eurostar services and Wales & Borders services as well as a number of freight services too.

This is a time of huge changes to the network with the BR era Class 4xxs being in the twilight of their careers with their replacements of the Post BR era Class 4xxs being slowly introduced to passenger service.
