"Warning" implies a danger. "Notice" seems preferable.

In UK English it's pretty commonplace expression serving as an alert without any connotation of doom.

Thanks for the date in advance. I will try and get to this provided it does not collide with either:

- Possible photographic trip (Brighton / Eastbourne area) *
- Severn Valley Railway / KRM Signalling Weekend *
- Local church weekend away at Lee Abbey, Devon
- A wedding *

* = Dates TBC

Birmingham's nice and easy for me to get to but sadly I'll have to give it a miss, as I will have a 3-week-old* son then! Have fun, everyone.

*unless he's delayed by the wrong sort of food trolley.

Good stuff, I live in Malvern now, haven't been to a meet for a while, and I see it's just round the corner from Snow Hill! Do we have a signup sheet going yet?
