I've seeded a train at PR2.

Without passing PR2, it immediately calls wrong route. It cites Llanfairfechan as the next location, and in F2 its current location is Penmaenmawr.

It's worth noting that its TT is correct in that it seeds at PR2, the first location is Penmaenmawr followed by Llanfairfechan.

Refreshed sim looks great by the way.

e: I've just been looking at this a bit more and it seems that all my seeds are 'skipping' the first location in the timetable. Hence why my original seed expected that the next location would be Llanfairfechan, not Penmaen.

If I remember rightly, the first location on a seed is meant to be the last location that the train passed before midnight, so that it has some idea of where it's come from and where it's going - so in this case, something like Conwy or Llandudno Jct.

Not quite sure why it is calling in wrong route, the location checking on that signal simply needs the next location not to be the ballast quarry.

Actually your data says "PNMNMWR must be the next location for trains taking this route".

However, the addendum to PeterB's post suggest something odd going on if the location is being skipped on start-up. Seeds need the first key location it will pass as the first location in the timetable - not something behind it as it'll look in vain for it.

I'd had a look at the data before I made the post, I've got it down as PNMNFHH is invalid for all trains. I've obviously changed it at some point.

When seeding was first implemented, wasn't there an issue where the train needed the location behind, followed by the current location? This is definitely the case on CScot- my 2013 TT had to have the previous location specified in order to make it work.

I think it did need the previous location - or at least two locations. However, it didn't work particularly well, nor on ARS sims, nor did it make sense when you just wanted to seed in a bay platform or terminus.

Bearing in mind I have the latest (unreleased) Loader, using the released data without whatever Karl has changed since, I can enter a timetable of [seed PR2],Penm,Llan. Train seeds and it's initially looking for Penm, and takes the route. Not sure what to suggest except wait for the next release?
