So I decided to fire up one of the old version timetables to see how well the new Loader version handles it. Answer? As I suspected not very well at all - TT Analysis results in 7 errors (all "Invalid timetable data"and 592 warnings (mostly "Never used" presumably because entry location data has changed.) No problem, I decide, I'll work through it and bring it all up to date. (For the record, the TT I'm trying to update is Kurt's 1985 TT.) First thing I tried was amending one of the loco run rounds at Stafford which is one of the TT's coming up as errors in analysis. It would appear there is no valid route between Stafford station and the reversing points at No.5 and No.4 junctions. I thought that maybe adding Stafford No.5 Junction as a passing point may be a requirement - this is mandatory on other sims (e.g. Haughhead Jn. on Motherwell) - but resulted in no valid route between Stafford No.5 Junction and No.5 Jn (Down Slow Rev) and the three other possibile routes. So the question is, is this a known issue? There doesn't appear to be any mention of it in the manual, which is understandably still a work in process. Planotransitophobic! Log in to reply |

Hi, just to let you know, the 1985 WTT is being updated as we speak (by myself) so keep your eyes open during the next few days... On a side not from this, the majority of the older WTT's for Stafford are also being done in due time. Log in to reply |

Thanks. This was more of a exercise for personal use and a brain workout. I suspected that this TT and others would be reworked. I just picked it at random. So, is the procedure for running a loco round a secret? Do I have to wait to find out how to do it? Planotransitophobic! Log in to reply |

Where would you like to run it round? via the houses? Loco run rounds for Stafford station would be the following for example: Stafford (Divide loco front) > No.4 Jn (Up Slow Rev) > Stafford > No.5 Jn (Dn Slow Rev) > Stafford (Join) Log in to reply |

Which is what I tried but the timetable does not validate. (As stated in original post!!!) And in the current core data invalid timetables do not enter. Planotransitophobic! Last edited: 15/03/2014 at 23:12 by sloppyjag Log in to reply |

Funnily enough, I too loaded the old 1985 TT into the re-issued Stafford yesterday, and the only train that enters is the 9Axx seed train at the start. I assume this is a related issue to the above.

Mainly because the locations have changed for the entries (naming convention) and a few other tweaks, but fret not, all shall be available very soon...
