Hi all, Just to say that I'm enjoying the sim immensely. I've just got up to 0500 and the first trains are coming out of Clapham Yard to reverse in sidings 1 / 3 / 6 and head out to Clapham Junction P6. I've got ARS for the yard off - and when I try to set a route for CLP J, it says that a slot is required. So I request it, but so far I've had it flashing for five minutes with no movement of acceptance. But as soon as I click Clapham Yard's ARS on, the slot gets given... Am I doing something wrong here? Replies much appreciated. Cheers, Joe. Log in to reply |

" said:Hi all,Joe, have you read the manual? It is a must for this sim. Panel 2 Slots Panel 2 needs to accept the offer from Clapham Yard. I did indeed read the manual - but evidently not thoroughly enough! That's great, thank you.

I've got to 0618 and I still have 5F11 waiting at CY11. The train has had to be signalled in to the washer and has been tagged as non-ARS by the program, not by me. This is because it has entered the area from an unplanned path. It will not accept being made ARS. I have full ARS running. Is this a bug please, or have I misread the wiki (several times)? The only way out of this as far as I can see at present is to remove the train. Thanks Log in to reply |

This is because it has entered the area from an unplanned path. It will not accept being made ARS.5F11 is too long to fit between the shunt signals. Do as you say and signal through the carriage washer. The train will only proceed part of the way - it'll stop when the rear end is tucked in behind the exit signal. You will need to move the TD back to the exit signal. It is not a bug, it happens in real life, and the situation is mentioned in the last paragraph of the Wiki. SimSig Boss Log in to reply |

Geoff, Thank you. I have to go back to an earlier saved position, so I'll try when it recurs. Log in to reply |
