what about Cambridge or peterbro re release on the loader? on Cambridge you could have the ely-norwich line or even the march line as ab working.

Earlier this month Geoff M. wrote on another thread on this forum: " said: These days I rarely give advance news but there are new sims on the way, both recently closed boxes and very much modern and current signalboxes. Also fixes and improvements to released simulations. Watch the websiteCould suggest anything but a loader version of Saltley would be good. Perhaps, in view of Geoff's comment that I reproduced above, it could be combined with a release of Stourbridge Junction? I said in a fairly recent multiplayer session that I hoped SJ would appear and it would be fun as it would chain to New Street as well as Saltley: a comment from someone else said that SJ was a possibility. It would certainly almost complete the Midlands area: only Walsall would need releasing (which would also chain to New Street and Saltley). Perhaps we would get a Saltley loader + SJ and WL. Who knows..... Dave Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Banners88 |

According to the wiki Walsall is in development but we probably all saw that coming.

" said:" said:That and a bit.And how long is this queue? As long as a piece of string? Entirely off the top of my head, Cambridge, Drain, Euston, Peterborough, and Royston need updating for the loader and other reasons. I'm not sure if Fenchurch needs any work. I've got one sim in development, one stalled for complicated reasons, and four or five sets of notes for possible work. I have 173 core code and 35 compiler bugs assigned to me. None of that is in any kind of order. Oh, and a life. Log in to reply The following users said thank you: Trainfan344, Finger |

Therefore we can deduce that unlike Oxley or Shrewsbury, it is in development. As I said, it's the missing piece to the jigsaw so hardly surprising in the slightest. Thanks! Log in to reply |

For a true Midlands chain we would need Walsall, Stourbridge Junction & Derby to be added. Would be great fun but it would, by my calculations, require a minimum of 23 players if every panel & box was to be staffed once those three sims were added if it happens. That does not include Walsall as I don't know how many people that would take to operate. That could, of course, then potentially expand into a huge midlands / southwest chain (Walsall + Stourbridge + Stafford + Aston + Derby + New Street + Wolverhampton + Saltley + Gloucester + Swindon + Westbury + Bristol + Exeter)! By my reckong that would require a minimum of 41 players! *gulp* Dave Last edited: 25/02/2015 at 21:12 by DaveHarries Log in to reply |

Two other big bits of the jigsaw are arguably Leicester and Doncaster PSBs. Last edited: 25/02/2015 at 21:25 by peterb Log in to reply |

I think that was discussed a few months back - if we had Derby that would then link to Sheffield, Trent, and then Worksop and South Humberside. Personally I'd like Doncaster, which would also be a "jigsaw piece" like Derby (linking to South Humberside, Worksop, Sheffield and Trent).
