Hi all, I just went ahead and brought the two new Leeds area sims and East Coastway but despite following instructions ie usually now you click for updates in the Loader and it downloads the sims for you - the Loader insists it's up to date and won't allow me to download the sims above. Equally strange is the fact that I cannot login into License Manager as it keeps giving me a Error 11 and if I try to change my password, it leads me to a 404 error on the old site. Having spent my money on the three sims I am looking forward to trying out, I'm not a happy bunny at the moment for obvious reasons - can any of the team help please? Log in to reply |

I experienced the same behaviour when running an update from the loader yesterday stating that it was up to date despite new simulations being available.

Well now the loader has discovered I have 3 sims to download BUT when installing the sims, the loader says they're NOT on the server to be downloaded.... I guess it's a step in the right direction but now trying to login to the License Manager has changed to a Error 12 saying my password is wrong but it's not. Just have to wait for someone from the team to let me know why this is happening.... Log in to reply |

There are currently ongoing issues with the license manager, and loader updater, whilst the new website is brought fully online. Please be patient, Geoff and the team are aware and are working as quick as they can to resolve things.

A moment ago I fixed the login issue with the License Manager and am working on the next section. Apologies.

I'm now seeing a "failed to get a response from the server" message. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply |

Apologies.Well I managed to log in and it had East Coastway as a sim I could add/remove licence even though it's not actually installed on the PC nor is it available to be downloaded... Looking forward to having a look and route learning the new sims over the weekend Thanks for doing whatever it is you did to fix one of the two faults Log in to reply |

East Coastway is available by the check for updates feature, though I'm not sure if that is working yet after the site upgrade. I just tried the licence manage again 5 minutes ago as this morning it wouldn't let me access the licences. I want to remove the licence off my notebook & allocate the licence in question(Birmingham New Street) to my PC so I can do some work on the timetable I'm writing. Althopugh it managed to remove the licence off my notebook. I then allocated the licence for New Street onto my PC. The licence manager window now says 'this machine', but whenever I launch New Street I get the message saying:- you do not have a suitable licence for this simulation. Demo mode enabled for a few minutes. I've removed the licence & re-allocated it, but still get the same message. Obviously Geoff & Co have progressed the problems with the licence Manager from this morning, but doesn't look as if it is totally fixed as yet.

Same here, but not having changed any licence allocation. Seems specific to B.N.S. with my licences ATM.

IIRC when the first error message first appeared[didn't make a note of it] it specifically stated 2 sims in particular. Birmingham New Street & Edinburgh. Also I've noticed since this happened when you open the licence manger the list of sims no longer appears in alphabetical order. Log in to reply |

I have the same error. I thought it was something wrong on my computer, so I uninstalled SimSig. I can't seem to find the installation file on the website. Where is it?

To add to the issues with License Manager, my licenses for Edge Hill and Huyton seem to have disappeared. I've checked everything else I have licenses for and apart from New Street - as detailed by others up thread - I can find no other problems. Planotransitophobic! Log in to reply |

Just a thought with those getting Error code 12 when sigining in to License Manager. I had the same issue just now, but then I realised, I was required to change my password for the new website, so I tried that password and signed into License Manager.

There is definitely an issue with Birmingham New St and the 3 Rugby sims. I just changed my password on the licence manager and an error message relating to those 4 sims popped up. Stupidly I didn't note the exact error message but subsequently the 4 sims say I don't have a valid licence although licence manager says licences are allocated to my PC.

Hi The license manager has synchronized few sims ( feltham edge hills huyton etc ) however there is still a problem with BHS and Rugby. All the other sims works fine ( Tested ) Demo mode only for BHS and Rugby and license allocated in the license manager. Fabrice OLIVE Log in to reply |

All the above licenses fixed and several sim downloads fixed - possibly all but I won't claim that until further testing has been completed.

But this change (reopening the license manager after your last post) has caused my license manger to loose the Wembley Mainline license (in case it makes a difference, since the site update it has been showing up in the manager as wembley and watford multibuy even though the watford junction license is seperate and still there and working.)All the above licenses fixed and several sim downloads fixed - possibly all but I won't claim that until further testing has been completed. Thanks Geoff, confirm all 4 fixed OK.
