Train 6L24 is routed to Stratford High Level via Channelsea Jn. When the train has exited my area with train 6L88 directly behind it, the train suddenly appears to be at Kensal Green in the trains list, and 3 trains routed to Stratford are waiting for it to pass.

6L24 has been bugged for years, and it's been a pain to fix. What has happened is that the Simulation has not realised 6L24 has passed Kensal Green, and the timetable has not updated since that point. You need to go into the train list (F2), edit the timetable of 6L24, and set Stratford High Level as the trains next location. It should move off eventually. Log in to reply |

It doesn't move off. Edit: New version of timetable installed after I tried to let 6L24 run farther. I haven't tried this train yet in the new situation. AJP in games Log in to reply |

How long did you wait? In real life (I should know - I work there!) it can take some time for the Stratford (GE) Workstation to get those freights moving. It's a shame it's too difficult to simulate the discussion between the signallers and control to plan the best way to get freights moving when there is no space on the GE main line! :-P Log in to reply |

A brief reminder regarding trains routed to Stratford High Level (Read the short paragraph with those words highlighted). Only just leant that myself very recently and I believe is relevant to this thread and so is worth mentioning. That is about trains waiting within the area of the NLL panel 2, but this train stays outside the area at Stratford itself.

Kensal Green problem, how puts mfcooper, any trains when pass kensal green jn don't actualize its timetable to next stop or pass point. Other trains if actualize it correctly. The first trains, how puts mfcooper, open list trains F2 key, select train with button right mouse, Edit timetable, clic on next stop or pass point or where is currently that train, clic on Say driver ... and after 2 times Enter key, then data of train is actualized to that location... I've just run 6L24-1 through on its' own and it appears to be fine. One point though is that it has a stop scheduled at Stratford in the timetable, 0412 to 0413. As a freight train it may choose to wait time which could explain stops off screen. The 'I'm at Kensal Green' error did not appear so I wonder if you've got the current programme version, (6 November 2005). I know the previous one did need extra timing points inserting, as you can see comparing like trains from the timetables of 1991 (top) and 2004 (bottom) Log in to reply |
