Hello. I am new to te SimSig simulations and are currently going through the North London line Feb 2004 timetable. I have a problem with 5G27. It arrives at Woodgrange Park and is then timetabled to , I presume , go back to Forest Gate Jn. What ever I do I cannot get the train to move though. I have tried moving the train to signal 337 so I can reverse it at signal 334. But it stubburnly sits where it is. Any help or I have missed something on the forum that has the correct path. On another note the problem with the yard at Temple. Would it not have been better to have set up the yard as say per Pwterborough? Aka there are clear entry and exit points. Besides that the sims are great ! Log in to reply |

I have just run the timetable from when 5G26 appears. It turned round automatically at Woodgrange Park (down changed to up and 5G26 to 5G27 on F2 list). When it reached departure time its entry in F2 list changed as expected. I then told it manually to pass signal at danger (right click on it in F2 - select signalling - select authorise to pass signal at danger) and it happily departed from Woodgrange Park towards Forest Gate going wrong line past the (greyed out) signal that you can't signal to even though it looks as if you should be able to. Hope this helps jrr Log in to reply The following user said thank you: woodruff |

Re Temple Yard and Peterborough. The Sims reflect as far as possible what the situation is like in the relevant real signal centres. So if there's a difference between sims there's almost certainly a difference between layouts on the real thing! jrr Log in to reply The following user said thank you: woodruff |

I can confirm that Temple Mills yard layout looks like the actual screens at the Stratford (North London Line) WestCad Workstation (my old job!)

Thanks for the info. I saved and tried what you had advised. It does work but before the train departs you recieve a xx:xx for the train code, [ which I simply deleted ]. When I tried again I altered the timetable and sent the train to Barking platform 1, then had it come down the line to the junction and off to Forest gate. But thanks for the help Log in to reply |

Ah did not think of that lol I thought that it was simply the way the sim had been set up, but thank you for the info.
