Any chance we could see a sim of Croess Newydd (Wrexham) box. Quite a bit of interest in the sim itself. A short section of single line worked by track circuit block from Wrexham Exchanged Junction to Wrexham Central (Guards phone in via the tail lamp phone from Wrexham General). Double track Absolute block to Gobowen. Plus a ground frame at Chronospan. Double track absolute block to Dee marsh / Penyfford. And then the single line to Chester (Slotted from Chester PSB). An early 2010 TT would be nice to do. Hourly trains on the Bidston line. 1 TPH North to Chester and 1 TPH South to Gobowen. Plus the WSMR, as well as the log trains, and the freight up the Bidston line requiring a run round at Croess Newydd loop. It would also be very suitable for single player. "Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer Log in to reply |

having looked into this box more ("croes newyydd north fork" to be precise?) it looks like it has the potential to be a good single player sim and possibly as an "advanced training" sim. could be interesting to include slots to represent a line clear for AB and the train crew to ring in from wrexham central (as per barnstaple)

It's not the driver who phones in, and it's not from Wrexham Central, it's the guard at Wrexham General platform 4 who does it. But yes you're right it can be a busy box, plenty to do run rounds, AB working ect. Oh and yes it's Croess Newydd North Fork Signal Box "Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer Last edited: 29/07/2011 at 15:46 by headshot119 Log in to reply |

Fantastic Mockup Joe. All you need to do is add the Worksop style Block bells to it "Passengers for New Lane, should be seated in the rear coach of the train " - Opinions are my own and not those of my employer Log in to reply |

i did that with my mockup of peak rail, but im not sure whether its possible to use those bells when fringing to AI. admittedly pennyffordd, dees marsh jcn and gobowennorth could be added to make a larger sim.
