Hi chaps, I am a relative (mature) newbie to Simsig. I can operate Royston ok and have played around with Oxted. I found Cambridge sim on my PC and thought I would give it a try. I loaded up the Summer 2003 TT but the very first train has got me stumped. The 02:38 6L31 arrives and I'm not sure what to do with it, I get it to the Ely Up Goods Loop but then I cannot work out where exactly to put it or what happens next. Would anyone be able to explain in laymans terms exactly what I should do with it?

In the timetable there are some activities at Ely UGL (DEF: 0L31 J:0L31). These activities describe a typical 'run-round' where the the loco (0L31) is detached from the front of 6L31 and runs onto the other end of the train, enabling it to reverse direction. Interpose 0L31 and you can then view its timetable. I would set a route to 256 (Ely Reception South), then to 293 (Ely North Reverse), and back to 270 (Ely UGL) where it can join onto 6L31.
