Bingham, shunt signal help 20/08/2012 at 21:12 #35051

Timetable, fictional. Train from Nottingham pl3 to Bingham up line, from shunt signal on platform to down line and return to Nottingham. Well, train is stopped before to arrive to Bingham platform.
I have proved to use Reverse, up direction and shunt to move it to platform, but continues stopped there. Proved to put less longitude to train and cannot to fix it.
I ignore if is necessary to pass to platform without select track, using pass red signal and shunt options. Question is how to fix this problem?. Thanks friends.

Charlytos,

Which timetable are you using. I think it might be one of mine.

I think you expect that the train will go NOT P3 - Bingham DOWN - BM34 (reverse) - Bingham UP (reverse) - NOT. That's not the case. The train will reverse on the down platform, and then run through BM23 directly back to Nottingham. It does not stop at the down platform.

Peterb is put on first phrase, timetable fictional. Over details I have to look it, how you put. I have seen your signals mentioned.

Problem fixed, the thing was to put longitude train very short, over 30 or 35. Then if was free the shunt signal to do reverse movement. Thanks.
