Hi all! I have a question about fonts, but it’s not the normal question. I run Simsig under Linux using WINE. The track looks fine in the main window. My problem is that, ever since updating WINE to version 1.6, the timetable windows (and, for that matter, the clock) are now shown using a variable-width font. This, needless to say, makes a big mess of the timetable! This happens in both Carlisle and Exeter, so I assume it’s not a simulation-specific thing. Does anyone have any suggestions? I tried poking around in winecfg, but couldn’t find anything related to fonts in there.

I would hazard a guess that the Courier New font used in such windows has gone AWOL from your system.

Good call, that was the problem. I think it used to fall back to some other fixed-width font in older Wine, since I didn’t uninstall any fonts with the upgrade. Installing the MS Core Fonts system-wide fixed it.
