It appears that I can swing the points in every ground frame, bar Whiflet, without first unlocking the frame. I almost managed to derail 1S03. too. This doesn't look right, either: Log in to reply |

Swinging the points on the mouse buttons is wrong in all instances with ground frames theoretically as only the release is under the signalbox control. What route is set on the bottom picture? Log in to reply |

From Wagon to Down Coatbridge. Setting that route automatically unlocks the frame. Last edited: 25/02/2014 at 16:16 by John Log in to reply |

This is not an uncommon arrangement in reality, and is very common on the Western Region. As long as the signal will not clear until the correct sequence of ground frame levers are operated then this is correct behaviour and not a bug. The ground frame points being able to be moved are a bug however, and I will report them as such on the relevant system. (Issue 10460). The point locking may have been a change in corecode that I overlooked, but I'm not sure - easy fixed anyway. The Wagon siding is explained in the manual - as are a couple of others that work the same way. Peter I identify as half man half biscuit - crumbs! Log in to reply |
