As far as I can tell, those are currently missing from Westbury. Am I correct in presuming that this a holdover from the old version because Simsig didn't support them at the time Westbury was initially released? Unless I've overlooked something, this would mainly concern four sections of line:

Just to clarify, are you saying you've tested and that the speed limits don't seem to be coded into the sim?

No. There is a difference between speed limits and speed classes. All TC's can be given a particular speed limit: one for passenger trains, or for freight trains. All trains will adhere to either one or the other. However, there are cases where certain types of trains have a different speed limit to the regular passenger and freight limits that are set (and I am not referring simply to that imposed by the locomotive). Some sims support this, others don't (possibly as they do't need to). A quick search of the wiki for speed classes came up with this. There may be other explanations. Now why they are used or when they are used I don't know but I am sure there are those that could give an example. From the original report, it looks like there should be some alternate speed limits for certain classes of train in the area simulated by Westbury BUT the reporter is suggesting that they aren't being adhered to. I think what's being asked is, is this because the original sim data pre-dates the speed classes feature being available (which it certainly does) and the re-release is simply a re-work of that old data and therefore speed classes aren't included in the sim (but possibly therefore should be added) or are they indeed implemented in which case there may be a potential problem with them. Sorry, I re-wrote the sentence a couple of times and didn't mean the overall "speed limits". No need for all the explanation!

I am not sure my mind reading skills are good enough to know what you thought you meant!!! LOL.

Correct, I've finally got around to playing Westbury for the first time (if you don't count an abandoned attempt many years ago :sillyand out of curiosity, I ran a few test trains and noticed that currently, speed classes don't seem be implemented.
