Chicago Loop not appearing in loader? 28/01/2015 at 14:22 #68510

Hi all,

I've downloaded and installed Chicago Loop but i can't seem to get it to appear on the loader? I've only got one other sim on the loader which is West Hampstead. I've installed Chicago to the same foler (Simsig>simulations) in which i now have a folder for WH and a folder for Chicago along with a .sim file for both WH and Chicago.

Any ideas where i'm going wrong?

Cheers

Dave.

Have you tried checking for updates when you first launch the Loader?

Hi,

Yes i have checked for updates and the loader did update but i still can't see Chicago in the loader... Just West Hampstead.

I've just tried re-installing Chicago again and confirmed that both West Hampstead and Chicago have the same relevant folders and then the same relevant files within those folders as each other but still no joy???

Ok i've just tried add folder and when i select the simulations folder the only .sim file the program is seeing is WH even though The Chicago .sim file is also in the same folder..... The Chicago .sim file is a lot smaller than the WH one (WH is 815kb compared to Chicago which is 107kb in size)

Don't worry about the sizes of the .sim files. The West Hampstead sim is a lot more complex that the Chicago one which is why the .sim file is a lot larger.

On my set up I have a Simsig folder which contains

* A folder for each sim containing splash screens, timetables and so on
* a .sim file for each sim

So it looks like yours is set up the same way.

In my folder options the only one I have checked is

[CSIDL_COMMON_DOCUMENTS]\SimSig
