Hi all,
Just downloaded Salisbury and had a look at the manual.
As this is the first time I've played with a sim that has block working instruments I'm running into some problems.
As I said I have read the manual and have followed the instructions and routed the first down train 5L95 sucessfully through the single line sections.
I now have the first up train at Gillingham which says its waiting at GM28.
I have made sure the replacement switch for GM28 is not clicked.
Im a little unsure as to where GM28 is.
I have offered the train to Tisbury and acceppted it and onwards to Wilton all okay but for some reason I cannot get 1L16 past the illusive GM28.
Having read the manual I must still be doing something wrong.
Any help would be appreciated as this is looking like a cracking one player sim.
Thanks
Rick

GM28 is the Gillingham starter signal.

Have you set the Gillingham block instrument to accept? (ACCT)

The left-hand block 'instrument' offers trains to Gillingham, and accepts from Gillingham. You don't need to "offer the train to Tisbury", that is done by the (off-sim) signaller at Gillingham.

If you've offered on the Tisbury-Gillingham block and it is showing green 'Accepted', set a route from Tisbury to Gillingham and then cancel it to clear the block, then turn the knob to 'Acct' and the Up route should then be set after a few seconds.

Pardon me for asking a dumb sounding question but what's the 'To Tisbury' and 'To Wilton' boxes for then? If I'm sending stuff to Gillingham for example as I can get trains to arive at Gillingham but I can't get these boxes to clear for the next train

As mentioned in the manual, the 'To Tisbury' and 'To Wilton' control the section between Tisbury and Wilton, and the 'To Gillingham' is Salisbury's control for the Tisbury- Gillingham section.
