Evening all, As you may be aware, Newcourt station opened today, between topsham and Digby and Sowton. Can anyone confirm if there are any plans to add this extra station/timing point into the Exeter simulation? Thanks. Log in to reply |

At a guess, "no", unless someone is able to supply the relevant plans. It also sounds like Peter has umpteen other sims to update in the meantime!

If anyone writes a 2015 TT using the current sim, they would be unable to enter the times for Newcourt. However, all that would mean is that the trains would arrive at Digby or Sowton earlier than TT'd. As they are presumably Class 2 trains, they wouldn't leave those stations earlier than scheduled so the impact would be non-existent as far as the signaller is concerned. Having stopped there last night on the way back from work - didn't realise it was open.. I can tell you it's the same side of the line as Polsloe bridge. I don't know the mileage though.

(2m. 75ch. is quoted in at least one other source). For reference the study shows Digby & Sowton at 2m. 20ch. and Topsham at 4m. 26ch.
