When installing the new Leeds City simulation via the loader, the default timetable fails to install due to “failed consistency checks ($271f2a21)”. I am using wine (via PlayOnLinux) and may well be a factor. Is anybody else, specifically those using Windows, having this problem too? Cheers… Gwasanaethau (Mark) Post has attachments. Gwasanaethau this is the first one of these errors I've seen, and I suspect Wine may be an issue. (I've not had any issues on XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, or 10.) [Before Sacro jumps on me I don't use XP on a regular basis.] If you could give me a couple of hours I'll do some testing on a Virtual Box and come back to you. Gwasanaethau more than a couple of hours but I digress. I've got Leeds downloaded and installed on Linux Mint - using playonlinux - and I had no trouble with any failed consistency checks. Though I did find some other issues which I'll open on our issue tracker in due course. Have you managed to get the timetable now? If not I'm sure we can find another way to get it to you. Can you see if the WTT does actually exist in c:\users\public\documents\SimSig\timetables\leedsew? It comes up with a consistency check if the file is not there which strictly speaking is true but not entirely helpful to the user - one of the things I intend to improve. Thanks for all the replies. Unfortunately, no, the timetable hasn’t appeared in that folder. I usually save my SimSig files to C:\Games\SimSig anyway, and there’s been no luck there either. It took about three attempts to download and install the sim (not including the two update processes to update the loader and updater). Now it says that there is nothing to update, but the timetable still hasn’t been installed (the folder …/Timetables/leedsew/ exists, though). Is there any way to roll back the installation of the Leeds sim (or at least convince the loader it hasn’t been installed) and try again?
