Just noticed while playing Coventry that attempting to set a route to any of the white shunt arrows produces a 'Call-on route requires section ahead occupied' error. Is this correct? I thought the shunt arrows here were used to signify to drivers that they were reversing behind a shunt signal (and also didn't need the overlap clear), not for call-on purposes? In any case, even if the section is occupied, the error still occurs.

A quick test of a similar arrow on West Hampstead (towards 298 at Luton) produces the same error, hence I've posted it in 'General'.

Drivers can't see the arrow- it's on the panel only.

Coding wise the arrow can be used for shunt routes, call-on routes, Warner routes, exits and next signals (A--A boundaries): Anywhere where you need an exit click with no exit signal. Sometimes the colour changes.

True, but they'll also see a shunt aspect instead of a main one if the arrow is selected.

EDIT: The ones at Coventry look like they should work in the same way as the arrows by D698 and D718 on NEScot.

Yes but the route might be a shunt route or a call-on route but the signal is the same, the button is the same: it's the controls that are different. I think the inability to set a call-on route with no train is a new feature.

P.s. I'm not commenting on the accuracy of specific example, just explaining the coding.

Can I ask if this issue been raised on the bug tracker? The buttons do not behave the way they did before a recent Loader update, and currently cannot be used at all.
