In the 1980s mode, is it the intended behaviour for trains entering from Garnqueen North Jn to only enter once a route is set over Heatherbell LC (signal GS3)? I can't see any obvious reason why a train shouldn't be able to approach GS3 at danger. The manual only mentions that an advance warning is given to "allow sufficient warning" to lower and clear the crossing, without any reference to trains being withheld until this has occurred.

I believe that in the 1980's Heatherbell was normally closed to users and open to trains. I thought the warning time was for later dates

Having played around some more, I can't quite pin down how to reproduce this - for the vast majority of trains, they do soon appear even without a route being set. However, occasionally a train will sit as "Approaching" for tens of minutes...

I know that CSCOT84 has several trains with large recovery on the triangle and I carried that over for consistency on MOTH84.

Simply a long time GQN-GSS does not cause a problem but there's something odd goes on when two trains are entering close together so that two are 'approaching' at once, ie if a 'wait on curve' is being caught up.
