Signals before level crossings will clear if:

-The section ahead is not occupied

-A route is set

-The crossing is down

-The clear button has been pushed

At Rugeley Town the platform starter is not a TORR (Train Operated Route Release) Signal. So the route from it won't automatically cancel after a train has passed it. You will have to cancel the route yourself once the train has passed the signal and then set another route to get a proceed aspect.

Hope this helped :)

That means there's a signal before the one you're trying to set the route to. Set a route to that signal, then set a route from that signal to the one you were trying to set the route to before.

To cancel a route, right click on a signal. Then after, you'd set it in the normal way.

The Green arrows are the order the routes should be set in the down direction and the blue arrows for routes in the up direction.

Are you trying to set a route from the first red signal to the first grey signal? If so, you need to check the diagram again- you need to set a route from MD23 (which protects Church Lane crossing) to MD22 (which protects Meaford crossing), then from MD22 to SE217 (the first grey signal).

It's in the F3 options, see this Wiki page for details: http://www.SimSig.co.uk/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=usertrack:ssrun:func:f3:optionsdisplay

It's one click to change it and one click again to put things back to the way they are now. Why not try it yourself to see which suits you best?
