I just started a hosting session in 1980's mode on Motherwell and have found it is not possible to set a route to shunting signal M315. Routes can be set from it, but not to it, tested and it is the same in 1990's era, but all is fine in the 2000's TORR was on, but ARS Was OFF The only refereance to this issue is mentioned about 1 year ago, but found nothing about it since. https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Forum/ThreadView/40887 I am using the latest loader and Motherwell is on version 4.2 Build 3 Last edited: 17/12/2016 at 00:39 by MarkC Reason: Added info Log in to reply |

wait for the train to stop on 321 and for the white route lights of the overlap to drop out. Then Set the route from 315 to say 313 then set the route from 313 to 315. Works fine for all routes for me. Routes in to the Up reception sidings need to be routed via 313, NOT direct. I am runing in the 1980's era More Info Even tho there is no TT for the 1990's era have go though trying to set signals as my 3rd post in this tread (my post above this one) and I get the exact same results Last edited: 17/12/2016 at 14:46 by MarkC Reason: Removed info Log in to reply |

I believe it is OK when you let ARS run itself, or that is what I recall from testing but just possibly that was a different version Bill Log in to reply |

A 1990 timetable is happening, if rather slowly as there's train length conflicts with the Edinburgh it should chain to. Bill Log in to reply |

I know the signal appears to be in an incorrect location. I am routing train from Motherwell to Wishaw Via Shieldmuir JN (1980's era) on wks 4 I can set the route to M516 but on clicking on the triangle near Wishaw does not set the route further. on wks5 there is nothing to set the route from that brach to Wishaw. its strange as an SimSignaller would have to operate signals not on his panel.

mark265 in post 91018 said:This was an era issue which has been corrected by Peter in a later version which hasn't been released yet. In the meantime the Panel 5 signaller will need to initiate the route on Panel 4 for the earlier eras. I can also confirm that the issue impacting on Loco changes on the Up Coatbridge has also been resolved, as previously advised by Peter, and these can now be signalled with no need to talk a driver past any Signals. While you will need to wait for Peter to release an updated version I can confirm I have hosted several sessions with friends using the 1984 timetable and the release version of the simulation without any major issues. You just need to make sure the users on the panels with issues are aware of the workarounds and assign somebody to panel 6 who understands how the Edinburgh portions attach and detach.
