Loader v4.6.7, Motherwell v4.3, fully updated Windows 10. All SimSig exe and sim files are in a custom location in My Documents (a hangover from when I was at work and couldn't install stuff on their laptop). I have a random issue when starting a new run of the sim and wonder whether my system has a problem or whether others are seeing the same thing. When the sim is started using the 2000s Larkhall branch era signal M147 at Newton should be collared. However, on the majority or times that I load that era the signal is not showing as collared. Saved games show (or don't show) the collar to mirror the state of the game before it was saved. I've re-loaded and updated the system files and removed and re-uploaded the sim file without any improvement. Has anyone any idea about what might be going on? “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Last edited: 23/01/2018 at 09:39 by postal Reason: None given Log in to reply |

Sorry, can't help with suggestions but can confirm the sim starts every time with M147 collared for me.

I can confirm this - unless there's something strange about the sim data, it looks like some sort of race condition in the core code.

It's also murder trying to signal from M147 to M137 if you remove the collar. I need to do a bit of homework on M147 but I am sure there was something about that signal that it was rarely used... I'll be back.

From a Enthusiast site... "There were restrictions on it for many years following the Newton accident but it was brought back into use when the new down north connecting line was commissioned a few years ago, there are no restrictions for it now." Raised on Mantis and Peter has fixed it for the next release.
