Awaiting Approval
Newport (South Wales) basically the Gateway to South Wales.
Passenger Traffic is dominated by First Great Western and the "New" IET's. The once dominant HSTs are now only seen on the "Castle Sets", the rest of the services being operated by older unit Stock that is gradually being cascaded for newer or refurbished stock.
Cross Country operate an hourly Nottingham - Cardiff - Nottingham Service as well as TFW with 175 units as well as 143/150/153 and 158s.. Class 67 work to Cardiff from the North.
Freight in the area is a mixture of GB / DB and FL with DRS making an appearance as well as Colas.

With the introduction of new Rolling Stock onto the network the cascade of older units is evident as they are moved to Simms on Newport Dks to await their fate.

Please report anything in the relevent thread on the forum and I will amend

Enjoy

How do you get 6T88 into Maindee Depot? Doesn't seem to be a route.

I abandoned the timetable and with some careful manual reversing in East Usk M2 and then again at L10 managed it not sure if that can actually be timetabled, I will have a go later.

5W78 Little Mill Jnc entry point - it was not picking up timing point locations as it was travelling along so it wasn't following the TT. I had to manually 'set current/next location' in the TT editor to get it to recognise where it was.

If I remember correctly 5Z11 did the same (also Little Mill Jnc entry).

As for 6J88 for Maindee depot, I'm not sure what the timetable is supposed to show but I think I sent it to Maindee West Jnc or maybe Newport station so I could reverse back to Maindee North headshunt.

Cheers for the timetable enjoying it.

Edit: Also, 6B47 has a stop at Severn Tunnel Jnc relief line - platform DR line RL. I think you need to tick Thru line stop in TT as otherwise the driver will phone up saying wrong route has been set. Edit 2: Same for 6Z60.

Chris, 5N02 0508 Cardiff Canton - Ebbw Vale Town is timed to pass Ebbw Vale Parkway rather than terminate. As such it doesn't reverse when it forms 2F02 0638 Ebbw Vale Town - Brigend so 2F02 calls up from the buffer stop stating waiting at signal and has to be told to reverse, and then departs EVP early.
