Just wondering if there are any plans to update the Wimbledon simulation to reflect the Waterloo remodelling undertaken during the summer of 2017?

It's in the back of my mind to research what other changes there have been around the same time. Platform lengthening comes to mind but without checking, I don't know if that would affect the sim.

The diamond crossovers between platforms 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 were also removed to allow for the platform extensions along with some other modifications which I can't remember. There also seems to be a discrepancy on the Latchmere curve featured in the simulation. Both Wimbledon and Victoria signalling centers show only one Latchmere Reversible instead of a Up and Down Latchmere curve as featured in the simulation. https://photos.signalling.org/picture?/12282/category/1193-2007 https://photos.signalling.org/picture?/12275/category/1180-central_panel Last edited: 01/07/2020 at 14:22 by ewsclass66 Reason: None given Log in to reply |

The Latchmere Reversible line used to be single track as per those photos, but was doubled at around the same time as the East London Line was extended to Clapham Junction.

The throat into Waterloo international has also seen some changes. Signals after international junction protecting the platforms and leaving the platforms protecting the junction both lines. New points from UP Windsor Fast to Up Windsor slow country side of Queenstown Road used regulary by Windsor and Reading trains to get into Waterloo without conflicting with up Hounslow's and Kingston Rounders. W2 outside Waterloo into P1 now via the down line, P4 can access both Down slow and Down fast lines just to mention a few of the things that have changed in the waterloo area.
