Interesting. I’ve just sent 5Y32 from Newcastle P3 (as per its timetable), across the High-Level Bridge, through Greensfield Jn, KEB East Jn and KEB North Jn and back into P3. Am I missing something here because this manoeuvre appears to be pointless. No other trains are due to use P3 and it isn't scheduled to stop en route. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Or it could be a rusty rail working. Log in to reply |

What date of timetable ? I do not see it in the sim provided default 15-10-2009. Could be to get out of the way of a freight or similar that did not run on the day in question. Log in to reply |

Apart from things like track defects causing the timetabled route to be blocked I have been on trains in both directions between London and Newcastle which have used the High Level in order to turn the set and get it back to posh end at the KGX buffers formation.bill_gensheet in post 147332 said:Nothing obvious in the relevant WTTs (available for all on the NR archive site), would favour route knowledge for a London crew. What date of timetable ?The timetable is August 2016 with Extras. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply |
