Oh well.... it is a very long time since I have played Simsig after 15 years. Anyway, decided to have a go at Liverpool Lime street playing the above mentioned WTT. Now, I see that there are 2 trains that are booked to be in Platform 6.. LSP6 which is 2F50 that is already seeded in platform 6 and not due out until 05:32 via Slow line but I see a train 3Q26 arrive at entrance at Edge Hill (00:29) which is loco hauled and due to come into platform 6 at 00:33 for a departure at 00:49. I tried to signal the 3Q26 into P6 but no, it won't budge at signal 6 on the Up Slow 3 times so I signalled it into Platform 8 so it moved to P8 which I now realised a 2F99 train is appearing at Edge Hill up fast and is booked to go to p8 so I had to move it to P9 via Edit T/T which notified the driver which eventually came into p9 for its 00:55 departure. I am wondering whether I am doing it right or wrong or is the WTT having errors overlooked ? Oh well... thanks for the game even though I tried other WTTs on other sims such as Feltham, Wolverhampton, etc so it is a deep learning curve for me at the moment. I am not attaching a save game as am playing it now... Last edited: 22/01/2023 at 10:20 by axmh Reason: None given Log in to reply |

I am realising that the 2015 SX WTT doesn't exist in the User Contributed files via Liverpool Lime as this WTT was in the Liverpool TT timetable folder which I downloaded somewhat aeons ago so obviously it is an old one. Understand if anyone is having trouble getting this WTT. Apologies Log in to reply |

Timetables which are not in user contributed files are supplied by SimSig and are automatically installed via the loader and are maintained by the Simsig team and updated via the loader. As a rule of thumb 2009-10-15 SX, 2015-04-08 SX & 2019-01-09 SX are all installed via the loader and will never appear in User Contributed files. If a timetable appears with these date formats in user contributed, there is no guarantee that they will work with the official supplied timetables. If you edit the official supplied TT's (of which there is no objection to) you must rename them, as any updates provided will overwrite any changes you have made. With regards 3Q26, investigative noises will be made to sort the problem out. Any xQxx headcode should only go via the booked route/line, it may just be a length issue that needs sorting Mantis 37751 Passed the age to be doing 'Spoon Feeding' !!! Thanks, Meld I understand regarding issued WTTs anyway, this 3Q26 is what I see is 118m long as there are 2 units in P6 (2F02 which is 82m and 2F50 is 46m) whereas the P6 is I gather 250m So it's a tad long there to fit 3 trains in I haven't gone past the 1st hour yet as other things got my attention Thanks for looking into it regards Alex Last edited: 22/01/2023 at 11:34 by axmh Reason: None given Log in to reply |

Happens from time to time in real life too, the signaller would (so long as they're confident the train will fit) just talk the train past the signal at danger if it had to use that platform. Thanks Will try soon One thing I don't understand is that why couldn't the driver contact me over the issue of not moving to P6 3 times which I sent it to P8 or P9 ( can't remember now) ? thanks again Alex Log in to reply |

axmh in post 150235 said:ThanksThe situation of a *Q** train needing to use a specific platform isn't something SimSig's wrong route code can handle easily. And in practice, the train may not have had to use that platform anyway depending on what was being recorded.
