I thought that I reported this back in February 2022 but can’t any posts anywhere. I’ve had several trains destined for Sheffield platform P5B which actually don’t stop until they are in P5A, even though their next working is back towards Meadowhall. Is there a particular reason for this? ……. Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Everything that you make will be useful - providing it's made of chocolate. Log in to reply |

Thread here that was originally posted about Derby but equally relevant to Sheffield. It is default SimSig behaviour unless the sim developer specifies something different or the TT writer enters a stopping position.

Arguably this is a timetable error or sim error (depending on opinion). Trains at Sheffield stopping in 2/5 and coming in from the North and reversing will stop in the north (A) end unless specified otherwise as it leaves room for a second service to turnback south like the EMR lime street - Norwich services. Either the sim should default to this or the packaged TT needs the stopping point amending? bugsy's save is using the Spring 2021 timetable, not an officially packaged one.

Cheers, missed that, although the original point still stands.
