I agree it looks like a bit of overkill with the flank protection, but as stated, it is actually correct Last edited: 27/05/2023 at 02:50 by flabberdacks Reason: None given Log in to reply |

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but in the attached save, I have 1E05 standing outside the station. When I route it in to P1, it divides like normal, I route 5E05 into the North Dock Sidings as timetabled, but then it disappears! From what I understand from the timetable, 5E05 enters the North Dock Sidings, divides again, and 0E05 comes out to reattach to 1E05. But 0E05 never re-enters! I ran the sim fast for over an hour sim time, yet it never came out. It leaves quite a predicament, since 1E05 is now grounded in P1. Help! It sounds like you're using an old version of the timetable as 5E05 doesn't go into the north dock in the newer version. When the sim was updated, the north and south docks are no longer captive sidings and are now entry/exit points which is why you're having the issue. If you download the new version of the timetable, its tested fully and works with the new sim, plus its now Mondays- Fridays as well. There are some moves into the dock sidings in it, but they'll all work correctly. "We don't stop camborne wednesdays" Log in to reply The following user said thank you: j.a.g1 |

I encountered some strange behaviour recently regarding the up/down wallsall line, specifically for trains entering the area. There were two trains that had appeared on the fringe to alrewas. I had set the route through for the first train and it took it as normal. However, as it passed the signal protecting the single line (AS5 I think?), the sim complained of the signal being reverted to danger, and applied approach locking. I did not cancel the route manually, but I am running TORR. As I wanted the second train to come through straight after the first, I set the route again, the signal stopped flashing, and I thought all was normal. But the second train stops at the signal. I cannot see the aspect of the signal, so I'm not sure if the signal is actually red (which makes no sense as the route is set and clear) or green (why does the train stop at the signal). I will attach two savegames, one where the second train is stuck at the signal, and another which is before the second train enters the area (I'm not sure if the sim is consistent on exactly when the second train enters) Post has attachments. Hi, In pre-2000 era I have 7G21 waiting at stop board COALSTOP. The request for authority to proceed is coming to Mantle Lane SB - should this not be going to the relevant supervisor at Coalfields Farm? Thanks Jamie Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

Just got penalised with message "15:51:15 0Z81 had permission, not 0Z81 (Derby 4 Shed)" (!) There's two locos with the same TRN due to an earlier TCF at St. Mary's that devastated the timetable Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Jamie S (JAMS) Log in to reply |

However, you can also specify the full train ID to exactly match the specific instance, so use "0Z81" for one of the instances, and "0Z81" for the other instance... uh oh... (SimSig does stop a second train *entering* with the same ID, but does not prevent a second train with the same ID being formed/divided/detached) SimSig Boss Log in to reply |
