The November 18th meet will be held at the AC Hotel by Marriott Manchester City Centre (NOT the Salford Quays location). This will be in a conference room at the hotel and we have the room nearly all day. We will confirm the actual times soon.

Food and drink is available within the hotel. In addition, there are some take-aways and restaurants within walking distance. However, such food/drink may NOT be brought into the Marriott - please consume such food off the Marriott property.

There is car parking immediately outside the hotel in two pay and display car parks, and there are more car parks nearby. You are responsible for your own parking charges.

Manchester Victoria station is around a 10 minute walk away, with Piccadilly station just under 20 minutes away by foot. A couple of tram stops are nearby.

Since COVID restrictions were lifted, we have found that it is now extremely difficult to find venues with free or low room cost hire, or a reasonable minimum spend, on Saturdays. There is a room hire fee for this venue, but a generous donor means there is no entry fee for you to attend.

Please note that absolutely no outside food or drink is allowed at this venue as they serve their own food and drink in the building. We had complaints from our last venue about people bringing their own Thermos and sandwiches. Remember, venues we visit are businesses trying to make money from the sale of food and drinks. We appreciate your understanding.
