Playing the updated sim, I am not clear about the Ketton ground frame. Should I consider trains coming from Ketton ward siding as exiting (the siding), or entering (the sim)? Or vice versa. Playing 2017 - AUSTERITY PETERBOROUGH - 2017 Timetable on the Old Infrastructure + Extras v1.4 timetable

Exiting the siding. Pull the levers in the Ketton Ward frame as follows 1, 3, 2. It takes about 20 minutes for the train/loco to appear on the sim travelling at 75 mph!?

Ketton Ward is a bit odd. It's in the area between the entry point for trains from Leicester (Ketton) and the start of the visible track. I wouldn't have put the entry point so far back myself, but I didn't write the original sim and don't want to break people's timetables.

A train will enter at Ketton Ward siding and sit in the sidings waiting to be let out. You need to use the ground frame to get it out. There are track circuit indications on the ground frame panel so that you can see what's going on (a real frame operator would just look around, of course). Once it's out of the sidings and on the main line, it will accelerate to line speed and, eventually, appear on the relevant track circuit.

You'll see the same delay if you compare a train entering at Ketton and appearing on the F2 list with when it first appears on the tracks. Similarly with trains leaving in that direction.
