Had an issue with Longsight slots - mistakenly requested a South end 53/55/58/59 slot but can't cancel it - the phone box simply says that permission was not granted for that train. I now have a queue on the Up Fast at Levenshulme as I can't get anything in the south end!

At the same time; I was able to request a second slot for another train so I thought I'd try and 'trick' the system by requesting a second slot and bringing in a train from the north into the south end - this is a standard move (perhaps not in this circumstance admittedly as it will possibly cause gridlock) but the train called wrong route - however in the real world when I take ECS onto Longsight it's up to the shunter where I go so going on south end when booked north is not a wrong route and would not be queried.

There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway.

Yep, had exactly the same problem and couldn't fix it either, in the end I had to restart to get a free slot again. Funnily enough this is exactly the same bug as I had with an early Charisle build in the loader back in 2012! bug 0007940. I have no rights to report for Manchester, but I have a feeling this could be a core problem?

Lack of ability to cancel slots reported as 18461.

Another odd Longsight one:

5S06 enters; and as I had congestion in the throat of Piccadilly I signalled it permissively into the UDG. It came to a stand behind another train, but has taken this location to be Piccadilly, divided and formed both of its next workings (the train ahead was not affected)!

There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway.

Core code issue, just waiting on loader 4.6.5 to sort it.

Same problem with 5r17/1r17 . Irritatingly the pendo changes direction in the UDG , then when you look as to why 5r17 isnt in the train list it looks like a bug and when you set the signal to red you dont get an ACOA which is really really strange.

In a busy morning this will keep on happening please sort ...

I've already noted above that the issue is in hand. In reality you wouldn't stack trains on the Goods anyway.

I beg to differ :D

It's less common in the morning (but does happen, especially with the shorter Northern units); but stacking is a frequent occurrence (but not always) as dispatchers will often give the trains out of Piccadilly RA as soon as they can as long as they go in the right order. But the Longsight shunter can only accept one at a time and has to change points/liase with the south cabin after every arrival.

It also becomes common to throw in trains booked onto the south end to reverse at 94/95/85 shunt signals rather than running on direct (because a lot of stock reverses in the neck); this is an accepted route again without being specifically told (though in this case the signaller will normally give us a heads up) which is another reason for the stacking.

And just to add to my previous - this evening as I was coming in from Crewe, two Pendolino's stacked in the Up and Down Goods waiting to enter Longsight.

Unusual move though - the last coach of the rear unit was fouling the points (2310A in the sim) onto the Up Fast!

Just to note, the issue in the original posts has been fixed and released several days ago.

Can I add another minor error - MP26 into Longsight in the sim shows as giving a single yellow aspect for the move; this should be position lights.

(Not observed the behaviour from MP13 yet)
