At Geoff Mayo's request, the following are suggested enhancements to the simulation in 2000 era which would facilitate timetables for earlier dates: 1) all movements between DCS2-4 and North Jn possible in both directions (enables multiple run-rounds and ECS departures northbound) 2) ability to hold two or more trains in any of DCS2-4 (eliminate "held by conditions" message) 3) ability to route trains to Loco Sidings via the Headshunt (movements from work OK, but moves to Loco Sdgs have to be done using the emergency connection from platform 2) 4) parcels dock roads able to be used separately and by multiple trains (same issue as (2)) 5) ability to run-round locos using UCS (pass stop boards in UCS/ up through siding and use GF) 6 Up (& Down) Passenger Loop south of station to be Up (& Down) Goods Loop - only applies before March 1986 7) remove flashing yellows if commissioning dates can be established 8) add South Yard connections and signals as per 1973 "yellow perils" 9) ability to run-round MGR trains (between S Wales and Didcot) in Kennington Jn DGL 10) Passing loop at Bicester LNW and offers/ acceptance from there rather than Claydon LNE (existed at least until 1981 - date of removal not known) Log in to reply The following user said thank you: GeoffM |

Have added this as a feature request on the bug tracker as 18518, and linked it back to this thread.

There's a couple of items you've missed which are some what much larger than the ones you've listed. These are the missing South Yard which is much larger than what is shown on the panel in the 2000 era. Plus Bletchington Cement Works is missing entirely & there were still trains runng from Toton to that location as well as on of the Bescot Speedlink trip workings that ran to Oxford/Didcot also called in there on an as required basis. IIRC I've listed these 2 already on MANTIS.

For 10 - I suspect although can't confirm it would coincide with the commissioning of Claydon L&NE Junction SB; which was September 1985.

Ok, that's more than I was expecting. I thought it was minor tweaks required for a few trains!
