The up direction in the title was wrong, I meant down. Hello, With sim 1.3, loader 4.6.5, I had a call from Stonehouse LC by the time a freight (4M78 in the 2016 TT) was approaching Wolvercote. I told the crossing user to wait for the train. However, ten minutes later it called me and said there hadn't been a train - even though the freight train had quite obviously passed some minutes earlier on its way to Aynho Jn. In which case, that's a problem in itself. Stonehouse Farm UWC was closed and recovered in March 2010.

Thanks for explaining, that's still a bug indeed. 2011 era should also be affected then, I think. Just out of interest I checked aerial images on Bing maps, it took me a while to find the crossing but here it is: https://www.bing.com/maps?osid=b4039672-7ad1-4dc5-918d-acb321f49ba6&cp=51.80259~-1.29818&lvl=19&style=a&v=2&sV=2&form=S00027 The former level crossing is still barely visible in the ballast. It looks like an overbridge for pedestrians was built instead. I first thought this object was a signal gantry but its location doesn't match any signal on the sim. AJP in games Log in to reply |

With loader 4.8.2 and the same sim 1.3, same era 2016, the crossing now does seem to work. I assumed that it was out of use so I allowed a herd to cross, and got an angry phonecall moments later as a Down freight passed.

I had the blind caller at stonehouse too - 2009 era He seems to see trains running UP, but not DN. Also the track circuit that trigger Sandford Brake Fm doesn't seem to line up with the crossing on the diag. Last edited: 04/02/2019 at 15:39 by renynX Reason: None given Log in to reply |
