I have train 5Z54 13:55 Carlisle to Petterial Sidings 1-6 that was booked to reverse at Currock Jn and then go via Bog Jn & London Road Jn to Petterial. Train is formed of Class 66 + 11 Coaches and Tornado it does this reverse so that Tornado is facing south when it comes back into Carlisle around an hour later at 14:27. I put down at first to reverse at Currock Jn at which it stands at the signal before the junction, I change its to Reverse CE364 Far End Exact + 75 and the train stops with it still on the junction. I had to abandon its timetable for it to clear the junction and CE364 before applying the timetable again and tell it to reverse this time it stops at CE364 then off it went to the sidings. Could anyone help me into why the train won't clear the junction instead sit across it all? Most of the trains at Carlisle are booked for a standard Crew Change which usually takes 1-3mins or wait till TRTS before they leave on there way. If I'm right in asking I could set up rules for the trains to dwell for 2mins approx and then remove the arrival time leaving it as pass timing? I know that I can put an arrival and departure time then click passing timing. I tried this with the Dalston tanks that leave coming back to Carlisle Yard they stop for 10-20mins without any reason why?, so I put passing time but the timetable flagged up errors but this doesn't do it for the trains timetabled into Carlisle? Aaron, Here is your answer: 5Z64 Carlisle Dep: 12:55 P3 Currock Jn pass 13:03 Reverse CE364: 13:05 13:05 N:5Z66 5Z66 Currock Jn dep 13:10 Bog Jn pas 13:15 London Rd Jn pas 13:20 Petteril Bridge pas 13:23 Petteril Br Sid arr 13:30 All validates! I found that Currock Junction in the timetable is located at signal CE 365! Has it been noted and corrected? Thank you very much Barry. Will redo the train and add the in the next one then re-test the timetable as v1.3 as I've made a few errors towards the end of the timetable.

I would have thought that the timetable for 5Z66 should originate at Reverse CE364, to match the incoming train - hence the error when analysing the timetable.

Indeed yes I put it down as Reverse CE364 then Currock Jn then Bog Jn - Path Invalid, I did the same missing Currock Jn - Path Invalid. So Currock Jn to Bog Jn - Validates. I'm a bit confused this bit as it's delaying my release of Tyne Valley Diverts

The same things happens when you are TTing a RR move in the Kingmoor Up Goods Loop and it doesn't affect the working of that movement. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Log in to reply The following user said thank you: HST125Scorton |
