I'm running the default 1985 timetable and a number of trains says "see notes" in their description. This is mostly for trains which are performing unusual shunting moves. I've found the "notes" button in the timetable window, but it's greyed out for all trains. How do I find these notes (which would be very helpful to have!)?

Is it in the main timetable description (press F4)?

The 1985 TT was one of the TTs that had to be moved across from the old SimSig website in a tearing hurry due to the imminent deletion of files from the old server. The notes may have been held in a separate file or folder which was over-looked in the move. In that case, they may unfortunately be lost. Edit: Looking at the files relevant to the 1985 TTs in the current download section, there are text (.doc or .txt) files of notes included in the zip files from the following TTs: Kings Cross 1985 Kings Cross 1985 Timetable v4.1 London Kings X 1985 Add-Ons Kurtds Maybe one of the text files in those zips may be the elusive notes. “In life, there is always someone out there, who won’t like you, for whatever reason, don’t let the insecurities in their lives affect yours.” – Rashida Rowe Last edited: 26/02/2018 at 16:50 by postal Reason: None given Log in to reply The following user said thank you: AndyNTH |

I have found a word copy of Kurt's notes which accompanied his Kings Cross 1985 v5.33. I realise this might not be the latest version available but would probably help a bit. I can attach to the thread later if the mods have no problems with me doing that. Gareth Log in to reply |
